March:  Bennington’s Changing Downtown — Ted Bird

Over the years fires and floods, the tearing down of buildings in the name of progress have changed this New England town. Ted Bird had a photography shop on Main Street for many years and he has taken pictures of the changes from the 60s through today. The 230 slide presentation showed pictures of buildings that lined Main, South and North Streets over the years.

The Mickey Kane Murder — Joe Hall 

The sensational murder of a popular taxi cab driver and the bringing to justice of the perpetrators is a story most interesting. The murder took place during the depression and it was all about money.
